Community Development Solutions is proud to announce that its Founder and Principal, Alana C. Green, has been recommended by the Peer Review Panel of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and World Learning for placement on the prestigious Fulbright Specialist Roster. Her tenure will last three years and conclude on December 20, 2027.

The Fulbright Specialist Program connects highly qualified U.S. academics and experienced professionals with host institutions worldwide for project-based exchanges lasting two to six weeks. Specialists use their expertise to strengthen institutional partnerships, enhance capacity, and promote cross-cultural understanding, all while gaining valuable international experience.

“I believe that while countries may differ in language, culture, and customs, the tools needed to improve communities are universal,” said Green. “The need for stronger, more resilient communities is a shared aspiration, and I am eager to explore how my expertise in housing and community development can contribute internationally.”

As a member of the Fulbright Specialist Roster, Green is eligible for project placements with host institutions in over 150 countries. Fulbright Specialists are encouraged to sustain collaborative relationships with their host institutions beyond the initial exchange, fostering long-term cooperation and potential consulting opportunities.
